Quick vector illustration for an orthopedic assessment guide showing anterior view of the ligaments of the right hip. This was done in Adobe Illustrator using mostly the pen tool and the brush tool. All thigh muscles have been removed so we can see the collection of small ligaments that hold the head of the femur in the acetabulum of the pelvis. The art director was a very nice person who, in addition to giving very clear direction, always sent very funny emails. These small glimpses of entertaining social contact meant a lot to me when working around the clock with few breaks, which I recall doing for this project. I can’t remember why the deadline was so short, but I’m always happy to work harder for such nice clients.
